Pug’s ‘Golden Girls’ Audition Tape Leaks Online

A pug’s aspirations for sitcom stardom are no longer secret after a hacker group known as “Gizzard Squad” claimed responsibility for leaking her audition tape to the Internet.

“Gigi has always been a huge fan of Golden Girls,” says Jeremy Gaines, a friend of the Columbus, OH pug. “But I had no idea how obsessed she was.”

The video – titled “Gigi’s Golden Girls Audition” – shows the pug in full “Sophia” dress and makeup, reading a scene from season three, episode two of the long-running ’80s sitcom.

“Look, Gigi is a great HR manager at work and she bakes an amazing tuna casserole from time to time, but she’s not an actor” says Gaines. “The tape has made things a little awkward for everyone. Also, Golden Girls has been off the air for like 20 years.”

Gizzard Squad hackers would not return our request for comment.

Cat Can’t Unsee Raccoons’ Romantic Encounter

A cat named Sharon has lost significant sleep in recent weeks after witnessing a romantic liaison between two raccoons outside her Toronto home.

“Every time she closes her eyes, there they are,” says Isabel Parker, a family friend. “You know. Doing it. I think she’s traumatized.”

Sharon’s doctor has recommended sleep therapy and even prescribed pharmaceutical aides, to no avail.

As for the raccoons, local law enforcement has been looking into a string of lewd behavior offenses in the neighborhood, but pinpointed no suspects.

Pigeon Gang Gets Rough With Tourists

A gang of pigeons is reportedly wreaking havoc in Barcelona where the birds are targeting tourists.

“They got all up in my face,” said Harry Wohl, a vacationer visiting Barcelona from England. “They stole took my camera and snapped photos of their butts, they hooted at my kids, they stole my bagel. It was awful.”

Authorities have yet to apprehend the birds, but have ensured that the city takes the matter seriously.

Cops Bust Squirrel for Reckless Driving

Police in Somerville, MA have arrested a 2-year-old squirrel named Hank after receiving a report that he was driving erratically on Medford Street. Patrol cars attempted to pull the squirrel over, but he did not respond to the sirens, according to the police report.

“I called in some backup and we pinned his vehicle with a blockade,” says George Sevalis, the officer who made the arrest. “He didn’t seem to know or care that we were chasing him.”

There are no indications that Hank was driving under the influence, and he was not transporting anything illegal, though authorities did find a large cache of nuts in the trunk.

“He claims they’re his, and that he recently dug them up after the winter,” says Sevalis. “But we’re looking into it.”
