New HGTV Home Makeover Show Out-Foxes the Competition

HGTV debuted its new lineup of home renovation shows this week, and one offering is already standing out from the pack.

“Out-Foxed is where two couples switch apartments for three days and remodel one room to surprise the other,” John Arrman, an executive producer at the lifestyle network tells The Fluffington Post. “Oh, and it’s hosted by a crafty fox.”

That host is Juniper, a long-time veteran of the reality TV space, who was snatched up by HGTV when her contract at The Food Network was not renewed.

“It’s already showing strong ratings right out of the gate. I think a lot of that has to do with Juniper,” says Arrman. “Her fans are very loyal, and we’re excited to have her in the HGTV family.”

REPORT: All-Fox Dodge Ball Team Advances to Quarter-Finals

A team of foxes has broken through to the quarter-final round of the
World Dodge Ball Championships, according to ESPN.

“Sure, we’ve seen a fox or two on a promising team in years past,”
Andrea Weaver, PR for the WDBC told the sports network. “But a team
made entirely of foxes? It’s unheard of. This is a big moment in
sports history.”

On Tuesday, the Norwegian team will face off against rivals from
China, a group of ballers who made it to the Final Four in 2009.

Fox Is Reportedly Shrewd Negotiator

If you want to leave with the shirt on your back, don’t get into a bidding war with Rupert the fox. The fox is known throughout the forest as a master negotiator, able to get his price on pretty much anything.

“I once saw him talk a rabbit into voluntarily cooking him dinner,” said Sandy Lamar, who lives near the fox and often sees him at work. “That might not seem all that impressive, but he was having rabbit for dinner! He should really take that act to Vegas.”

The fox reportedly works the hillside behind the bowling alley down to the tract of farmland at the edge of town and into the woods behind it.

Fox’s Vacation Pics Were Photoshopped

When Gerald the fox returned to work earlier this week after seven days off, he could not stop bragging about his trip to Hawaii. He even passed around photos of all the great stuff he did while he was there.

At first, everyone around the office was jealous – until Tom Jowarski from the graphics department noticed something odd.

“I realized that the he was making the same facial expression in the surfing picture, the hang gliding shot and the one in front of the lava flow. Like, the exact same one,” said Jowarski. 

After a bit of careful analysis, it became clear that most of Gerald’s vacation snapshots were Photoshopped. The fox claimed he only did it because his camera’s SD card got corrupted and he lost his actual vacation photos – but he totally did all those things. Office mates aren’t so sure.

“Mary from accounting swears she saw him at Target last week,” said Jowarski. “I’m thinking he never went to Hawaii at all.”
