Area Cat Kinda Bummed About Being Named “Poo”
After 10 years, it just dawned on a local cat that her name may not be the cutesy moniker she once thought, but a shorthand for excrement.
Poo has reportedly been lazy and despondent ever since coming to the realization, but sources close to the situation suspect she will bounce back relatively quickly.

REPORT: Inter-Species Kissing on the Rise
The Pew Center for American Animal Culture finds that kissing between species is up 27% over last year. While the factors contributing to this trend are still being studied, the report found that the greatest increase in inter-species affection is between puppies and guinea pigs.

Let’s face it – the average robot cat of the early ‘80s just didn’t cut the mustard. The sound effects were unrealistic, and the cuddle factor was notoriously low.
But the Roboto Neko Amigo, which hit store shelves in 1989, was a significant leap forward in consumer robotic cat technology. Featuring real angora fur and an advanced cuddle engagement system, the product raised the bar for the entire robo-pet industry.
Unfortunately, with a retail price tag of $1,599, Roboto Neko Amigo did not succeed commercially. But its influence is still felt today.
