Dachshund ‘Shamed’ on Internet

Barry the dog will probably think twice before falling asleep at a party again.

Friends tell The Fluffington Post that the dachshund was at a gathering last weekend when he apparently could not stay awake.

“He got into the kibble pretty early on,” says Kirk Evans. “We told him to slow it down, but he didn’t listen. He was out before 10 pm – poor little guy.”

Poor indeed. Unfortunately for Barry, his friends took complete advantage of the situation and decided to “shame” him. 

“Some of the other guys got the idea to find the most embarrassing-looking sheets and tuck him into bed,” says Evans. “Then, of course, we took a picture. It was too funny not to share with everyone – so we did.”

Evans certainly meant “everyone” – by the next morning, the pup had gone viral online.

“Those sheets are probably as famous as he is now,” says Evans. “He hasn’t returned any of my texts, but he’ll come around – I hope.”

Samoyed Puppy Was Born to Model

From the day he was born, Zeke seemed to have a natural understanding of his best angles. As he’s grown up, he developed a sixth sense for finding the camera and the light. Friend Natalie Brown showed The Fluffington Post her home photos of Zeke and his puppy siblings. In every shot, he’s flashing a dazzling samoyed smile to the camera, even when the other dogs are oblivious to the attention.

Brown said she noticed Zeke’s photogenic nature right away. “He’s from a litter of five, but even when he was a tiny puppy, he stood out from the pack,” she said. “He’s got that magical X factor.”

In fact, Brown thinks Zeke has the natural talent to make it big time. “I sent a headshot to Tyra Banks,” she said. “I mean, he’s got her ‘smile with your eyes’ thing down to a science.”

In FluffPo’s editorial opinion, we would be much more inclined to watch the fierceness of America’s Next Top Poodle rather than the human show currently on air.

David Hasselhoff’s Biggest Canine Fan Visits the Beach

Coco the chocolate lab is a lifelong fan of David Hasselhoff. Thanks to his love of the Hoff, it was no surprise when Coco showed up at the beach this summer ready for some slow­-motion runs on the sand in homage to Baywatch.

Calvin Reese, a friend of the dog, said that Coco’s obsession made the seaside trip less fun than usual. “Normally I love playing fetch in the park,” he said. “But out here on the beach, it takes him five minutes to bring the stick back after each throw.”

At least this wasn’t the dog’s most annoying Hoff­-related activity. Reese said that when he was looking for a new car last year, Coco insisted on a Pontiac Trans Am.

“I kept telling him that I wasn’t going to be the same as Knight Rider,” Reese said, shaking his head at the memory. “Coco sulked for weeks when I bought a Prius instead.”
