Area Dog Embarks on Epic Netflix Binge

An addiction that plagues many, most commonly known as the “Netflix Autoplay Feature,” has recently stricken Mickey: a 4-year-old Long Island dog. 

According to his roommate John Astor, Mickey is currently “in the denial stage of his addiction.”

“I usually try watching just one episode of House of Cards after work every day, and Mickey will sit there and watch episode after episode without even moving an inch,” says Astor. “Sometimes, he’ll even re-watch episodes.”

When asked about his own relationship with Netflix, Astor refused to comment.

New Dyson ‘Catcuum’ Creates More Dust Than It Sucks, Say Critics

Since it introduced its first vacuum with “cyclonic technology” in 1993, Dyson has been known for making some of the highest performing cleaners on the market. Its newest offering, the Catcuum DC-M, however, is a rare miss according to critics.

Consumer Reports gave the vacuum its lowest possible rating in a recent issue.

“We just can’t recommend the Dyson Catcuum DC-M,” wrote the magazine’s editors. “It seems to mostly just move dust and household debris around the floor, and in our testing it often spent hours of the day under the bed doing nothing at all.”

And in a write up on the consumer reviews website The Wirecutter, the Catcuum, “creates more dust than it picks up. Hair was just everywhere during our tests.”

Dyson representatives could not be reached for comment, but the Catcuum’s price has been discounted by as much as 75% at online retailers over the past week, indicating that sales of the model have not been good.

Dog Uninterested in ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5

Cody, a pug from the Greater New York area, reportedly had little to no interest in the season premiere of popular television show Game of Thrones.

According to sources, he’s been doing things like “rolling around” and “licking himself” whenever season five airs on HBO.

“I just didn’t understand it,” his roommate Kyle Bergen tells The Fluffington Post. “Last week was such an exciting episode and all of my friends came over to watch. It was almost as if he was more interested in observing the stationary bowl of popcorn than acknowledging the show’s existence.”

Bergen adds that Cody has even gone so far as to leave the room once the popcorn ran out.
