Cat Demands Minimum 1,000 Thread Count on All Bed Sheets
A cat from San Francisco, CA was not pleased to learn she had been sleeping on sheets with a paltry thread count of 500.
“She really can’t go below 1,000 on sheets. Pillow cases, maybe 750,” says Carl Grossman, a source familiar with the situation. “Sure, she can be a little bourgeois about it, but if that’s what makes her happy, I won’t fight it.”

Kitten Housekeeping Startup Acquired by Tidy Cats
Entrepreneurial kittens Smoky and Freya have been cleaning homes in Washington State since 2009. But their business name – The Tidy Cats – has always been a point of contention.
Rather than send a cease and desist, Purina cat litter brand Tidy Cats reached out to the kittens in early February. After nearly three months of negotiation, the cleaning startup was acquired for an undisclosed amount.
The duo will continue their cleaning work as Purina employees, and be folded into the Tidy Cats brand as occasional spokeskittens.

Engineers: Cardboard Is Fatal Flaw in Kitten’s New Fort
After conducting a cursory survey Monday morning, two independent structural engineers have concluded that the fort built by an Australian kitten will not withstand an invasion.
The flaw? “It’s made of cardboard,” says Stu Kaplan, one of the architects who reviewed the new construction. “Historically, cardboard has not been found to withstand marauders or even inclement weather.”
Still, Oz the kitten, a resident of Sydney, will not be deterred from his investment. “We advised him to start over, but he plans to just pad the walls with pillow cases. I assure you, it won’t help,” Kaplan tells The Fluffington Post.
