Cat Tattoos Are on the Rise
A new report from the U.S. Department of Commerce indicates that new cat tattoo parlor openings are up 1100% over the past decade. Advances in “fur tattoo” technology are thought to have spurred the growing interest among felines in body art.
“Fur tattoos used to be a dangerous and pricey process,” said tattoo artist Skeeter O’Hair, the owner of Whiskers & Ink in Brooklyn, NY. "These days, though, it’s quite safe and much more accessible.“
According to O’Hair, business has been through the roof this year, and he’s actually hiring additional artists to meet demand.

Area Cat Shocked by Latest ‘Mad Men’ Episode
A cat named Falstaff was taken aback by the developments in the most recent episode of AMC’s popular drama Mad Men.
“That one scene – you know the one – where they finally find out what happened,” says Margie Canon, a family friend. “That really messed Falstaff up. He couldn’t sleep at all that night. Just kept thinking about it.”

Puppy’s Pool Party Flops
Ziggy, a pup from Winnipeg, Canada, hosted one of the most anticipated summer parties of the year. His “Wet N’ Wild Extravaganza” promised to be the premiere venue for water-themed entertainment.
However, not a single one of his guests arrived on Wednesday afternoon.
“It was kind of an odd time to throw a party,” says Harold Crane, an invited guest who could not attend. “Not sure what Ziggy’s up to at 1:00 PM on a Wednesday, but some of us have to work.”
“I checked it out, but the facilities were kind of lame,” Jennifer Mitchner tells The Fluffington Post. “A half-filled kiddie pool with no water slide? I’m out.”
