Kitten Prospector Finds Gold in Attic
Kitten Prospector Finds Gold in Attic
Everyone laughed at Tiny when he uprooted his entire family and headed north into Attic Country in the hopes of striking it rich. "There’s no treasure up there,“ they said. "You’re a fool and you’ll pay for your hubris!” they warned. But Tiny may have had the last laugh.
News arrived last night via the wires that Tiny has struck gold in the attic – literally. The cat has reportedly come across a cache of gold jewelry, antiques and other valuables. Though no appraisal has been made, rumors are that Tiny’s haul could be worth into the low four figures, a potentially life-changing amount of money for the cat.
Tiny’s urgent telegraph from the attic read in part, “Found gold. Stop. Lots of it. Stop. Only Fancy Feast from here on out. Stop.”

New Hamster Home Sales Hit Two-Year Low
New Hamster Home Sales Hit Two-Year Low
While the economy overall is starting to show signs of recovery, that’s not true for the hamster real estate market, which was hit hard by the sub-prime lending crisis a few years ago. According to new numbers from HUD (the Hamster Urban Development office), new home sales among hamsters are at a two-year low, and show no signs of picking up.
“Hamsters just aren’t buying new homes,” said real estate agent Carlos Ochoa. "Most hamsters are just renting or making do with nests of ripped up newspaper.“
