Dog Watches Entire ‘Air Bud’ Series

In an act once considered unthinkable, Geoff the dog is reported to have watched the entire Air Bud film series today in a single sitting. Usually disregarded by the human public, the five-film saga about the sports-playing pup is virtually required viewing for dogs. That is, if they can actually get around to doing it.

“I thought he was going to quit around World Pup,” says Ted Gorman, a source close to the situation, referring to the third film in the franchise. “He was fidgeting and it looked like he was just going to shut it off. But wouldn’t you know, he stuck it out ’til Air Bud Spikes Back. I couldn’t believe it.”

While impressive, it should be noted that Geoff’s feat did not include the additional six Air Buddies films, centered around Buddy’s five adorable, talking puppies. 

“Oh come on, everyone knows those aren’t official canon,” says Gorman. “Buddy’s not even in those ones, anyway. And the talking dogs… like, what is that?”
