Cat Caught Breaking Into White House
by Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
According to government sources, Coco the cat is currently being questioned in relation to an attempted break in early this morning. The target? None other than 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“We caught her on camera digging under the fence, and then, when that didn’t work, just hopping over it,” said special agent Chris Tyler. “She’s been a very bad kitty.”
Though rare, animal altercations with the President have become an increasingly prevalent issue. Readers may recall an incident earlier this year when a grizzly bear interrupted a state dinner and refused to leave.
“We don’t believe this would have been as severe,” said Tyler. “That’s besides the point, though. We treat all threats equally.”
As a first-time offender, Coco could face a lesser sentence, even more so if she agrees to a plea.
“We’re taking it one step at a time,” said Tyler. “I’ll tell you one thing – she’s not helping her case by not talking.”
President Obama was reported to be in the White House at the time of the break in, with his dogs, Bo and Sunny.
