Sled Dog Fired Over Union Break, Labor Leaders Angry
Lawyers for The North American Sled Dog Union (Local 414) have filed a wrongful termination lawsuit on behalf of Camo, a Canadian husky who was let go from his team after taking a break in the Calan Valley on January 16th.
“Camo was well within his rights to take a breather,” attorney Ben Rubin tells The Fluffington Post. “In fact, union guidelines stress that dogs should take 15 minute breaks for every four hours of running.”

Wealthy Chinchilla to Set Sail for ‘Round-the-World Voyage
After a amassing a fortune in the plastics industry, Jacob Sawyer, III (of the Newport Sawyers) plans to retire in February and attempt to circumnavigate the globe in a custom-built sailboat.
If successful, Sawyer will be the first chinchilla to accomplish the feat. The voyage is expected to take between 60 and 80 days, depending on how many snacks can be packed aboard the vessel. The business titan also plans to liveblog his experience via a satellite connection to the Internet.
