Pug’s Summer Diet Threatened by Inconsiderate Roommate

Yoshi started eating healthy back in April, knowing he had a long way to go before his bikini would fit again.

“He really made the commitment,” says Ashley Khoningberg, a longtime friend. “He set weekly goals, made a spreadsheet – the works.”

But all of it could be undone just in time for beach season by one oblivious roommate.

“Kevin doesn’t even realize what he’s doing,” Khoningberg explains. “Yoshi’s trying so hard to avoid temptation, and there’s Kevin scarfing pizza in the living room, watching anime on Netflix. The smell alone is driving the poor pug crazy.”

According to sources, Yoshi’s put back a few pounds by partaking in Kevin’s snacks, but he hasn’t given up.

“It’s only June,” says Khoningberg. “And I plan on having a little talk with Kevin.”

Dog-Owned Kitten Spa Raises $14 Million in Series A

McRuff’s Body & Beauty Spa in Las Vegas, NV has been operating since 2013, solely on the capital of its founder, Rusty McRuff (pictured).

“We have been profitable since 2014,” says Charles Winshaw, chief marketing officer for the startup. “But we’re really excited to be able to expand our offerings significantly with this round of funding.”

The kittens-only spa and exercise resort closed a Series A round on Monday, which will allow the team to construct a much taller scratching post and hire a slew of qualified dog masseuses.

“A lot of folks think dogs and cats don’t get along,” says Winshaw. “But kittens haven’t lived until they’ve gotten a massage and facial from a Labrador.”
