Dog and Cat Roommates Share Bed to Save Money
Budgets are still tight for Lola and Gracie, dog and cat roommates (respectively) who have been living together since college. Buying a second bed for the new apartment simply isn’t in the cards right now.
“They saved a bundle by just sharing one bed,” says Laney Cromwell, a source close to the situation. “It’s totally platonic. And they can keep the heat lower at night since they keep each other warm. It’s a pretty good arrangement if you ask me.”

Cat’s New Game Room Is a Hit
A 4-year-old cat named Little Kitten from San Clemente, CA has been working tirelessly to turn the basement into a full-fledged game room, complete with a pool table and room for Twister.
At a private party on Sunday, she revealed the fruits of her labor.
“It is totally awesome,” says Karen Donaldson, who attended the bash. “We played Candy Land and Operation all night long! It’s great to have a dedicated space just for games.”
Little Kitten, an avid gamer herself, was sure to get in on the action. Numerous reports claim she ran the billiard table and dominated in an epic Mastermind tournament.

Cat’s Toupee Isn’t Fooling Anyone
Feline pattern baldness afflicts over half a million kitties worldwide. And while advancements in hair transplant procedures have been made in recent years, the majority of cats still opt for old fashioned toupees to cover up those bald spots.
Most kitties seem to pull it off, but Dexter, a cat from Modesto Beach, CA, may just have the worst hair piece in existence.
“I walked into the office last week and there was Dexter wearing that… rug,” recalled Angela Morantini, who works with the cat. “It was so obviously a toupee, but Dex just goes about his business as if everything is normal. I almost peed my pants laughing.”
According to Morantini, Dexter wouldn’t admit to any of his co-workers that he was wearing a hair piece, but no one was fooled.
“I said to him, ‘I am not going to take you seriously as long as you’re wearing that thing,’” she said. “And he just looks at me like, ‘What?’ Hysterical.”

Exotic Short Hair Refuses to Go to Work
Some days, it is really hard to force yourself out of bed for work. For Cleeves the cat, that type of day is every day. The Exotic Short Hair kitty has refused to get up for work every day the past week, and friends are starting to worry.
“He goes through stretches like this,” said Harry Grigsby. “He’ll spend the whole day sleeping and barely move. Everyone says not to worry. He’s a cat. But it seems pretty bad to me. I think he’s depressed.”
“Do cats get depressed? Yes,” Donna Jiang, a cat psychologist. “But sleeping a lot isn’t a symptom. In fact, it’s normal for cats to sleep a lot and generally be lazy, so it can be really difficult to diagnose kitty depression. If he stops eating or grooming himself, it’s time to see a vet. But just sleeping all day? Nah, that’s a cat thing.”
