According to local authorities, Samantha the ferret lives inside a beer stein. Why? “It’s cozy,” said one of Samantha’s confidants. "And it’s totally rent controlled.“ Still, many locals are perplexed by the ferret’s choice of abode. Sources tell The Fluffington Post that Samantha is relatively well off and could afford much larger accommodations (like a pitcher or mixing bowl).

“People just aren’t paying with ferrets as much as they used to,” says Linda Cole, economist and animal currency expert.

Geeky Ferrets Unbox New iPad for Internet Fans
In what has become a tradition around new gadget releases, ferret bloggers Gimli and Cocoa unboxed the latest incarnation of Apple’s iPad for their legions of geeky online fans.
The unboxing video has received more than 70,000 views as of this writing, and a complimentary video of their adventures waiting in line at the Apple store has garnered more than 30,000.

New Ferret Park Finally Opens to the Public
After nearly six months of delays, the ferret park at the intersection of Bradford St. and Oakland Ave. is now open.
“We wanted to ensure every detail was perfect before letting our beloved ferrets run around out there,” says parks developer Cameron Mondale of the 30-square-foot grass patch.
Residents are encouraged to walk their ferrets and utilize the ferret water fountain.
