Puppy Supergroup Drops Surprise Valentine’s Day Single

British puppy band Rollin’ Bones surprised the world this morning with the unannounced release of their new single and video.  

Called “Puppy Love,” the latest single from the group fronted by superstar Ziggy Trixx, shows off the band’s impressive vocal range. More of a ballad than their usual electro-synth pop style, “Puppy Love” features solos from each of the Bones’ members: Buttons, Brandy, Smurf, Isaac and the aforementioned Trixx.

“This is really a love letter to their fans and a message to their critics,” said Trey Glazer-Smith, lead canine music writer for NME. “The Rollin’ Bones have taken some heat in the past for being over produced. This new single should really silence those critics while thanking the fans who have stuck by them.”

The group heads out for a sold-out, five date, arena mini-tour across the U.K. this week. They’ll be joined on stage by renowned backup barkers Annie, Henry and Britt.

Doggy Date Ends Awkwardly

A date between two area dogs was going well, until one let his nose wander. 

Friends say the two dogs, Rufus and Cleo, who met on Tinder, hit it off and were cruising toward a second date until Rufus started sniffing around in the middle of dinner.

“It was impulse,” said Travis Finnick, Rufus’s roommate. “He’s a very friendly dog. The waitress came over to refill their water dishes and of course he’s going to sniff her butt. He was just saying hello!”

Cleo’s friends don’t see it that way.

“It’s friendly, sure, but you have to put it in context,” said Charlene Lee. “They’re on a date. Keep your nose forward.”

She added, “There’s no other way to say this: Rufus is a dog.”

Shih Tzu Upgrades to iOS 9, Immediately Regrets It

Puchi’s mobile devices were all working great. Her photos were synced. She loved using Instagram and Tumblr. And her weather app always notified her when it was time to stay in from the rain and snuggle.

That all changed on Wednesday when she got a little notification.

“It was nagging her to upgrade to iOS 9,” says Beth Malkoff, a friend of the connected pup. “I know she had been putting it off for a few weeks. But that notification wouldn’t go away.”

So she embarked on the upgrade. And it all went downhill from there.

“Suddenly, she couldn’t sync her photos with iCloud,” Malkoff tells The Fluffington Post. “Her phone was moving in slow motion, and she had all sorts of connectivity issues.”

The same was true for her iPad. After attempting a number of DIY fixes via Google, she eventually called in the big guns.

“I had to re-install the OS from scratch after backing up all her data,” says Winston Carlyle, an Apple Store employee who fixed Puchi’s devices at the Genius Bar. “I’m not sure what the issue was, but that did the trick.”

Puppies Now Available for 2-Day Shipping With Amazon Prime

Amazon.com has made puppy purchases eligible for 2-day Prime shipping, according to a press release from the online retail giant.

“Our customers have wanted this for a long time, and we’re excited to bring it to you,” said Amazon director of communications Marshall Tippit in the release. “Say you had a bad day at work or you’re feeling lonely and need a pick-me-up. Just add a Frenchie to your cart, use our fast check-out system, and you’ll have a pup licking your face in no time.”
