Guinea Pig Theme Park Features Giant Clover Patch
GuineaWorld, a new theme park set to open this summer near San Diego, will offer many attractions for thrill-seeking guinea pigs.
While short on roller coasters, the park’s biggest draw is Clovesplosion 2012, an enormous patch of delicious greens where piggies can graze for hours with any standard admission. Park safety rules do require you to be at least 3 inches tall to ride this ride.

Getting over the “grown-up surgery” can be trying for some pups. But Musha, an avid Star Wars fan, turned her ridiculously oversized cone into a fully operational planet buster.
Her new Death Star headgear has become so popular in her neighborhood and online that she plans to wear it long after her recovery, and perhaps even go into business selling designer cones to other pups.

Polar Bear Is Sick of Lame Office Jokes
A polar bear working at a local area zoo is sick of all the office chit-chat. He doesn’t want to talk about the Republican primaries, he doesn’t care about the Pauly D spinoff show, and, yes, he has opinions about the Mad Men season premiere, but he doesn’t care to share them with colleagues.
“He just wants to come to work, do his job, and go home to his family, without all of that forced water cooler socializing. Is that so much to ask?” says the bear’s union rep, Tony Gagliotti.

Cat Survives Close Call With Curiosity
It may be a trite prosaism that curiosity killed the cat, but try telling that to Emilio, a 7-month old kitten who was rushed to the ER following a particularly harrowing run-in with the stuff. The cat is resting comfortably in stable condition at this hour, but witnesses say it was touch and go for a little while.
