Puppy Unable to Secure Tennis Partner
A local golden retriever puppy named Nacho has been unsuccessful in his attempts to pin down a partner for his doubles tennis match next weekend.
“If he can’t find a teammate, he’ll have to forfeit,” says Howard Jones, the referee who oversees the Saturday doubles matches. “I know that will just eat him up inside. He’d rather partner with Jabba the Hutt than throw in the towel like that. He’s very stubborn.”

According to reports, Urkel the guinea pig is planning to spend a quiet evening at home and order take-out, rather than go to the club with his friends.
“He decided to just take it easy, order some lettuce from his favorite salad delivery joint and maybe watch some Bones on Netflix,” said roommate Candace Meloy. “He’s just kind of outgrowing the party scene. This is more his speed.”

It was bound to happen sooner or later.
According to their owner, Furbo and Laila have finally discovered the state-of-the-art camera system she had installed in her home last September. Known as “Kitty Cam,” the product offers 24/7 cat surveillance, as well as peace of mind for their owners.
“I’m sure they’re pretty mad right now, but I have no regrets,” says Kim Frenkel. “The fact of the matter is, we have jobs. How are we supposed to watch them if we’re not there? We have a right to know what they do all day.”
When asked exactly what her cats were up to, Frenkel was speculative.
“Eh, they’re probably sleeping. Actually, let me pull up my iPhone app – yep, they’re dismantling the Kitty Cam. I gotta go.”
