REPORT: Baby Crane Masters Hokey Pokey
For months Rupert, a baby Sandhill Crane, has been trying to get the hang of the ‘Hokey Pokey.’ Finally today, say sources close to the situation, he put it all together and successfully completed a verse.
“You know the lyrics, right? ‘You put your right foot in. You put your right foot out. You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.’ It was the shaking part that had him all confused,” said dance instructor Jane Levy. “He would do more of a flail than a shake.”
Rupert has been practicing daily since November.

Dog and Cat Roommates Share Bed to Save Money
Budgets are still tight for Lola and Gracie, dog and cat roommates (respectively) who have been living together since college. Buying a second bed for the new apartment simply isn’t in the cards right now.
“They saved a bundle by just sharing one bed,” says Laney Cromwell, a source close to the situation. “It’s totally platonic. And they can keep the heat lower at night since they keep each other warm. It’s a pretty good arrangement if you ask me.”

Puppy Mover Skimps on the Job
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
George had come with stellar references.
The budding mover and puppy had been hired to relocate Frank Washburn from his walk-up apartment in Queens, NY to his new home in Long Island. Everything was coming along smoothly – that is, until it was time to get the sofa in.
“He couldn’t get it through the front door, so he told me he would have to use the side entrance,” says Washburn. He spent about a half hour trying to get it in through there before he realized that wasn’t going to work. Then he decided it was the cushions – he rearranged those for a bit. Then he pretty much just gave up. The sofa is still outside.“
Calls to George Moving, LLC were not returned, presumably because George was still napping at the time.
