Dog and Bunny Vacation in the South of France
Reynard the bunny and Cody the dog have long dreamed of going to France. So when the two pals from Portland, ME saw a Groupon for a five-day tour from Avignon to Nice, they had to jump on it.
“Rey and Cody always wanted to go to Europe, specifically France, where Rey has family,” explained Todd Garlinghouse, who walks Cody on Thursdays. “They just didn’t have the money, plus all that planning is stressful. The Groupon was a great deal and really perfect for what they wanted to do.”
The two return on Thursday and have been sending back loads of Instagrams of their adventures.

Cat Forms Uneasy Truce With Roomba
Simon the cat has always hated the vacuum, but at least there was plenty of warning when it was about to make an appearance. First the hall closet would be opened, then the cord would need to be unwound. More than enough time to pick a good hiding spot and wait out the terrifying racket that would always ensue.
But then Roomba arrived.
Though not as loud as the other vacuum, it can be just as scary – the way it arrives without notice and zips about the room like it has a mind of its own.
Simon isn’t quite sure what to make of Roomba, yet, but for now he’ll maintain his distance, remain wary and keep a watchful eye. As long as Roomba stays away from Simon’s scratching post, there won’t be trouble.
Probably.

Cat’s New Apartment Is Smaller Than Expected
Moving into your first apartment is always an exciting time, and a big step toward independence. But for Mila, a local exotic shorthair kitten, the experience was a little disappointing.
“She saw the place with her real estate agent last week, and really fell in love,” says Nora Kidder, a friend. “But when she finally moved all her stuff in there, she felt it was a little smaller than expected. She was getting claustrophobic, especially with the drawer closed.”
Even so, she isn’t moving out, according to Kidder. “It’s her first place, she knows it’s not forever. She just won’t be having friends over.”
