Red Panda Oddsmaker Thinks Miami Heat Will Repeat as NBA Champions

Noted Red Panda bookie Winston thinks that the Miami Heat are the prohibitive favorites to win the NBA championship for the 2012-13 season.  He gives the team a 3/2 chance of repeating.  The Lakers aren’t far behind at 2/1 odds.

However, professional handicappers in Las Vegas caution that Winston’s odds should be taken with a grain of salt.

“He takes the Heat every year,” said Adam Jones, proprietor of Jones Sportsbook.  "He got lucky last year, and he may be right this year.  But really, I think he just gives them good odds because their uniforms kind of match his fur.“
