New York Times to Offer Puppies in Sunday Edition
In an effort to boost dwindling print subscription rates, The New York Times plans to include a free puppy in its Sunday edition.
“Readers can kick back, relax with the magazine, enjoy a few feature stories, and boom, there’s a little puppy in there who just wants to snuggle up next to you,” says Sandy Griner, marketing director for The Times. “If that doesn’t get you jazzed about newspapers again, I don’t know what will.”
