Puppy Celebrates Christmas In July
A local puppy has decided to dispense with waiting and celebrate his favorite holiday nearly six months early.
“Kaiser loves Christmas,” said family friend Judy Ong. “The carols, the cookies, the movies, the presents. He loves it all. He was doing pretty well waiting for the actual holiday, but about a month ago he started getting the itch. You know, humming ‘Rudolf’ all day, eating candy canes with every meal. Something had to be done.”
Their solution? A special “Christmas in July” celebration this past weekend. "We went all out,“ explained Ong. "Decorated a tree. Put Home Alone on the telly. Drank egg nog. Exchanged gifts. Kaiser tuckered himself out, but I think this will satisfy him until the 25th.”
