Pug’s Credibility Questioned on Witness Stand
The trial of The People vs. Iver Corp, LtD. took a twist this week when the defense called whistle blowing pug “Mr. P” (his real name redacted for privacy reasons) to the stand.
Mr. P originally brought to light the alleged poor working conditions of Iver’s North American factories, prompting the class action lawsuit. The defense attorneys, however, called the pug’s character into question.
“Is it true you’ve been seen on the street with your tongue dangling out of your mouth? Dangling around women and children?” attorney Ron Corbett asked.
Mr. P was evasive and did not give a clear response, prompting murmurs in the courtroom which the judge promptly silenced with her gavel.
