7 out of 10 Cats Choose Starbucks

A new study has found that 7 out of 10 felines prefer Starbucks coffee boxes over those from competitors, including Peet’s, Green Mountain and Maxwell House.  

“The Starbucks boxes used to ship six 12 ounce bags of coffee are the perfect size for most kitties,” said James Fenning, who administered the study for P&O Marketing. 

Interestingly, the study found that cats preferred boxes that had once held bags of ground coffee to whole bean, regardless of brand.

‘Rich Cats of Instagram’ Follows Lavish Lives of Kitties

It’s true what they say: cats really are in the 1%. That why an anonymous web user has launched a new Tumblr blog called Rich Cats of Instagram, which collects photos of kittens flaunting their wealth taken from the photo sharing service.

The site, which is clearly inspired by the similarly titled Rich Kids of Instagram, depicts kitties showing off designer clothes, driving expensive cars, and flashing wads of cash in front of private jets.

The photos above are taken from the Instagram account of a wealthy kitty with expensive taste in accessories.

Local Dog is a Total Chick Magnet

No one knows how he does it.

According to sources, Flip the dog is a veritable expert when it comes to attracting chicks. Once an average border collie, Flip has intrigued animal lovers and scientific experts alike with his uncanny ability to pick up loads of chicks. 

“Flip has a skill virtually unrivaled in the dog community,” says zoologist Kirk Horton. “Or the human community, for that matter. Once chicks come to him, they don’t leave. To be honest, I’m kind of jealous.”

Friends say they’re baffled by the dog’s sudden talent.

“It’s like somebody flipped a switch,” says Ryan Deal. “He never used to get any chicks – they barely even noticed him. But not anymore. Chicks love him.”

And it only got worse over the Easter holiday.

“Oh, man,” says Deal. “The chicks were everywhere. In baskets, in marshmallow form – it was like Christmas for him. But with chicks.”
