Cat’s Home Repair Project Goes Horribly Wrong

After being asked dozens of times to fix the running toilet, Rex was sure that he knew what to do. But even with the help of his human friend, the project quickly snowballed into a much bigger problem. 

“I had a bad feeling about it from the very beginning,” Marty Maxwell said. “He was all, ‘Trust me, I asked Reddit what to do!’ Well look what you’ve done, Reddit.” 

Maxwell was reluctant to share the details of exactly where things went south with the repair job.

“I don’t even know what happened,” he said. “Rex was fiddling around with a wrench and suddenly there was water all over the floor. Next thing I know, he’s fallen into the bowl and is yowling for me to call 911 or a plumber.” 

When Rex posted his ordeal to the Reddit forums and berated the people whose advice led him astray, he was instantly upvoted to the front page. Maxwell said he suspected it was the above photo that catapulted him to the sudden popularity.

Dachshund ‘Shamed’ on Internet

Barry the dog will probably think twice before falling asleep at a party again.

Friends tell The Fluffington Post that the dachshund was at a gathering last weekend when he apparently could not stay awake.

“He got into the kibble pretty early on,” says Kirk Evans. “We told him to slow it down, but he didn’t listen. He was out before 10 pm – poor little guy.”

Poor indeed. Unfortunately for Barry, his friends took complete advantage of the situation and decided to “shame” him. 

“Some of the other guys got the idea to find the most embarrassing-looking sheets and tuck him into bed,” says Evans. “Then, of course, we took a picture. It was too funny not to share with everyone – so we did.”

Evans certainly meant “everyone” – by the next morning, the pup had gone viral online.

“Those sheets are probably as famous as he is now,” says Evans. “He hasn’t returned any of my texts, but he’ll come around – I hope.”
