Zappos to Start Delivering Cats (and thus, Happiness) in Q2 of 2012

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that online shoe retailer Zappos will be expanding its offerings to include cats, beginning in April.

As part of the test run of its new shipping program, Sherlock and Lilly (pictured above) arrived to their new owners just yesterday.

Wealthy Parakeet Flaunts Riches in Tasteless YouTube Video

February 3, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Budgie the Parakeet (of the Cambridge Budgies) thought it might be funny to post a video of himself on YouTube playing around with his piles of trust fund money.

Since the video was uploaded on February 1st, it has received substantial blowback from numerous online communities, as well as supporters of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Bunnies Displacing Sheepdogs In Record Numbers

February 3, 2012 · Leave a Comment

Sheepdog Workers of America (Local 52) has filed grievances against several farms for firing experienced herding dogs and replacing them with young, underpaid bunnies – some of whom may be undocumented.

“This rampant cost-cutting will only lead to more lost sheep,” the February 1st memo notes.

One of the farmers in question, Philip McDonald of Dixie, ID, refutes the union’s claims, citing his farm’s fair hiring practices. “The bunnies are faster and more efficient. They keep the sheep in line,” Old McDonald tells The Fluffington Post. “Why wouldn’t you want to hire the best animal for the job?”

Printer on the Fritz? Check for Cats.

Printer on the Fritz? Check for Cats.

The next time you’ve got a paper jam or that little blinking light, skip the Geek Squad and open that baby up. Chances are, you’ve got a cat lodged somewhere in your laserjet.

Don’t worry. She’s more afraid of you than you are of her. Simply dislodge the cat (a little WD-40 will do the trick if she’s really wedged in there), and send her on her way. Your pinfeed will be flowing like wine in no time.

REPORT: Dog Unfazed by Delicious Food on Her Head

News agency Food on My Dog is reporting that Tiger, a stoic terrier/bulldog mix, remains undisturbed by the mouth-watering meals placed on her head.

Experts from around the world have marveled at the decades of intense training it must have taken for a dog to not eat a taco off her own snout.
