Cat Rules Monopoly Town With an Iron Fist
Residents of Monopoly Town have had a rough go of things ever since electing Willy McKitty to be mayor. Willy, the five year old heir to the McKitty scratching post fortune and local real estate investor, has governed the town with the calculated efficiency of a dedicated capitalist. While his office claims that cuts to social programs and what his spokespeople deem “unfortunate sacrifices” are necessary, others aren’t so sure.
“After the massive round of layoffs at Water Works last year, he declared the Free Parking lottery off-limits to anyone who was delinquent on their mortgage,” complained concerned citizen Tiffany O’Malley. "He even threw a bunch of people in jail in December for trying to pass Go early and he runs Marvin Gardens like a slum lord. I say, down with Willy!“
Some citizens are trying to organize a recall election this November. McKitty still has two years left on his term.
