When the first snow came early this year, Max the kitten certainly wasn’t in the mood to shovel.

“He’d had a long day at the office and the house was a wreck,” says Marlene Cooper, a neighbor. “He rang the doorbell across the street and offered the kids a wad of cash. They ran right over. It was done in an hour.”
