Kitten Comes Forward as 3rd Powerball Winner
The excitement around the November 28th Powerball Lottery drawing had all but subsided when a third winner from Kansas City, MO came forward to claim his prize.
“His name is Miles, and he’s a kitten,” says Powerball administrator Kevin Forrester. “His winning ticket entitled him to $157 million before taxes. He took it in a lump sum.”
What’s a kitten to do with all that money?
“He spread it out on the floor and started sleeping on it,” says Sheila Winthrop, a family friend. “He just needed enough to get comfy. The rest went to charity.”
