According to experts in dog orthodontia, early intervention is key in correcting the most common doggy bite problems. This usually comes in the form of dental braces, retainers, and other corrective appliances.
“As we found, most malocclusions, usually those involving maxillary misalignment, can be remedied in the early stages using common methods,” says Russell Cooper, DDS. “And as soon as dog orthodontia becomes an actual field of dental medicine, we can get going on that.”
