Dog Reenacts Historic Chariot Battles

By mirandate, FluffPo Correspondent

Astro, a dog from Alpharetta, GA, has recently become involved in his local chapter of SCA, the Society for Creative Anachronism. As a new member, he is participating in local re-enactments of historic battles.

Chapter president Alton Suther said, “Astro is a very helpful new member of the SCA. Although his primary interest is in ancient warfare and chariots, he’s been a big help at other re-enactments, too. He’s great at fetching historic swords and sticks. I just don’t have the heart to tell him that dogs didn’t actually ride chariots in ancient Greece. Oh, well.”
