Scientists: Cats Are Getting Longer
Evolutionary biologists have aggregated data on cat length from around the world, reaching as far back as 1870.
“What we’ve discovered is that kitties are getting incrementally longer,” says Dr. Randall Morgan, who held back a giggle at the word ‘kitties.’ “It’s unclear if the evolutionary trend is triggered by human activity. But if cats ever do start walking upright within 700,000 years, they will probably be able to play in the NBA.”
Actual scientists could not be reached for comment on this matter.
