Cat Unhappy with Budget Hotel Room
When Doodles the cat got the deal of a lifetime on a New York City hotel room, he suspected it might be too good to be true. He was right.
“His first tip should have been that he was shopping at a web site called, ‘Gr8H0tels4L3ss.biz,’” said Karen Romero, a representative of the Better Business Bureau of Manhattan. “Legit businesses tend not to use so many numbers in place of letters.”
Doodles scored what was described on the site as a “quaint but well appointed” room in a prime downtown location for $15/night. It turned out to be a spare bathroom in a basement apartment in Queens.
He plans to leave a very negative Yelp review.
