Kitty Splurges on New Bed Sheets

When it comes to sleep, Chester is a bit more serious than your average cat. That’s why he took his quarterly bonus last week and went straight to Bed, Bath and Beyond for some top-shelf linens.

“He’s really particular about thread count,” says friend Tom Sterling. “Personally, I don’t see what the fuss is – but he won’t sleep on less than 500.”

On this particular outing, Chester opted for a set of silky-smooth, 600-thread-count, 100% Pima cotton Wamsutta sheets. They may have dented his wallet, but the results have been stellar.

“He’s been sleeping like a baby,” says Sterling. “I realize for a cat that’s not saying much, but man – he’s one rested kitty.”
