Cat Nominated for “Ice Bucket Challenge”

It’s been all over the web. Eventually it had to get around to Lyle. 

The cat opened up his Facebook yesterday morning to find that he’d been nominated for the popular “Ice Bucket Challenge” by a friend. Suffice it to say, he was not pleased. 

“Lyle hates water,” says friend Jon O’Rourke. “He’s like most cats in that regard. But freezing cold water a bunch with ice in it? There’s no way he’s doing that.”

Lyle had better decide quickly – at the time of this writing, the cat had less than ten hours to douse himself in ice water or donate to ALS research.

“He’s a bit torn,” says O’Rourke. “He’s all for philanthropy, but he doesn’t want to look like a wimp. I hope his wallet’s as big as his ego.”
