Russian Computer Maker Accidentally Ships Cats Instead of PCs
Russian appliance manufacturer Bork‘s first foray into producing computer equipment for consumers has not gone well. The company shipped its first batch of its new line of Windows 8 laptops earlier this week, only to discover that they’d accidentally packed the laptop boxes with cats instead of computers.
“Its embarrassing for our company,” Bork spokesman Alexander Navka told Russian news television channel RT. “We’re working very hard to make sure every customer who received a cat instead of a computer can exchange it free of charge, if they want.”
Navka said the company is still investigating to figure out how this mix-up could have happened.
