Area Cat Down One Life After Couch Tumble

Cats are known for their lightning reflexes and supernatural feats of balance. But Tinker isn’t your average cat.

“She thought she could jump and reach the top of the couch. She was wrong,” says Rebecca Pally, the clumsy cat’s roommate.

In an effort to scale the back of the sofa, Tinker leaped from the TV stand.

“She had decent footing at first,” Pally explains. “But then she started slipping.”

The turbulence came as a shock to Tinker, which only compounded the misstep.

“She bonked the ground pretty good,” says Pally. “Eight more lives to go.”
