Westie Turns Balloon Animal Talents Into Business Venture
Arthur the Westie always loved making balloon animals.
“It was just a hobby for a long time,” says Melanie Lindberg, a source close to the situation.
But at a child’s recent birthday party, Arthur began to entertain the kids with his quirky blend of balloon shapes and screwball comedy.
“The kids ate it up,” Lindberg recounts. “They couldn’t stop laughing. Everyone kept shouting, ‘More! More!’ ”
On the heels of that success, Arthur went into business mode. So far, Westie World Entertainment, Inc. has locked down seven gigs in June alone.
“The phone is ringing off the hook,” says Marty Prince, who now manages Arthur’s busy calendar. “We’re going to need to start hiring some more help ASAP.”
