Tiny Hamster Lives Charmed Life
Meet Sophia, the royal hamster of the Principality of Monaco. Though most are familiar with the small, exotic city-state on the French Riviera, and its monarch Prince Albert II, few are aware that the nation has enjoyed the services of an official royal rodent since the late-1800s. A BBC documentary set to air in April will shed light on Sophia, who spends much of her time playing baccarat at Monaco’s famous Monte Carlo Casino.

An adorable white chinchilla will need more than just good looks to maintain friendships. It also comes down to manners.
Numerous acquaintances and co-workers have complained that his constant chewing noises drive them up the wall.
“If he’d just keep his mouth closed while chewing, it wouldn’t be so bad,” one office mate tells The Fluffington Post, under condition of anonymity.

Hamster Hacks FBI Database
A hamster known only by his hacker handle “SeedMonsterX” managed to breach a heavily encrypted FBI database Sunday afternoon.
While little is known about the hacker’s intentions, forensic investigators discovered a number of covert queries run against government data, including “Area 51” and “Minnie Mouse Nude.”

Geeky Ferrets Unbox New iPad for Internet Fans
In what has become a tradition around new gadget releases, ferret bloggers Gimli and Cocoa unboxed the latest incarnation of Apple’s iPad for their legions of geeky online fans.
The unboxing video has received more than 70,000 views as of this writing, and a complimentary video of their adventures waiting in line at the Apple store has garnered more than 30,000.

REPORT: Inter-Species Kissing on the Rise
The Pew Center for American Animal Culture finds that kissing between species is up 27% over last year. While the factors contributing to this trend are still being studied, the report found that the greatest increase in inter-species affection is between puppies and guinea pigs.
