Dog Will Nap on Anything

Tucker the golden retriever is a seemingly normal dog, he loves walks, scratches behind the ears and table scraps. Where he differs, however, is in his sleeping preferences. Tucker’s owner says the pup will conk out on virtually anything – and he’s got the pictures to prove it.

“I bought a doggy bed for him, like any good owner would,” says Josh McGill. “ He wasn’t having that at all. He just went for the nearest pair of shoes and passed right out. I was actually impressed.”

Tucker then began sleeping on any random object he could find, and he hasn’t stopped since.

“Last week I caught him napping on a stalk of celery,” says McGill. “I didn’t wonder why so much as how. He’s just a different kind of dog.”

Cat Calls Dibs on Sunniest Spot in Apartment

Manhattan cat Joey has carefully surveyed every square inch of his West Village apartment to determine the spot with the most sun. His detailed research revealed that the couch cushion closest to the living room window offered the best balance of sunshine to comfort, along with the perfect TV viewing angle and minimal glare.

Since identifying that spot, Joey has refused to move, according to sources close to the situation.

Roommate Natalie Alize said Joey’s claim over the spot was creating some tension in the apartment.

“I had friends over to watch TV last night and Joey wouldn’t budge,” she said. “It’s one thing for him to sit there during the day when I’m at work, but he keeps active dibs on the spot even when the sun’s gone down. He just really, really likes that spot.”

REPORT: Guinea Pig Had the Best Halloween Party Ever

Lester the guinea pig has always taken his Halloween celebrations seriously. This year, however, he may have outdone himself. 
As per usual, Lester planned his festivities weeks in advance. His costume had been meticulously crafted, and the decorations painstakingly hung. 
“Halloween isn’t just a holiday for him,” says friend Jeff Scheer. “It’s something else entirely. This year, he had spooky music. There were spiderwebs all over the place. He even had apple bobbing.”
Though the party was a success, one thing may have been overlooked. 
“He definitely bought way too much candy – full size bars, too!” says Scheer. “It was just kind of sitting there while people did the Monster Mash. Knowing him though, he’s probably already eaten all of it.”
