Dog Chaperone Doesn’t Allow Funny Business on Date

When asked by a co-worker to tag along on his son’s date, Mabel the dog took that task to heart.

“She doesn’t go anything halfway,” said Tom Wormly, who requested that the dog tag along and keep an eye on his son during a recent date. “Mabel’s commitment knob is always turned up to 11.”

Mabel reportedly made sure that the date was thoroughly chaste and wholesome, requiring a distance of two feet between the couple at all times. Not everyone was pleased with the outcome, though.

“I’m 27,” said Steven Wormly, Tom’s son. “My dad is a bit too overprotective. I mean, I love that dog, but she needs to butt out of my personal life.”

Cat Caught in Vortex of Cuteness

The National Guard has been called in to deal with a situation developing in Chandler, AZ, where a cat is caught in what scientists are calling a “cuteness vortex.”

“The vortex is a mass of cute air that descended from the Canadian Rockies,” explained Wei-Lin Mah, a professor of cuteology at the University of Colorado. “We’ve seen a few kittens and at least one puppy get sucked into the vortex, but in most cases, it dissipates quickly.”

In the case of the Arizona cat, explained Mah, the vortex combined forces with a mass of hot air from the west and was stuck firm.

Puppy Thinks He Was Sold Counterfeit Tesla

Johann, a puppy from Los Angeles, CA, has filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Southern California and local law enforcement after purchasing what be believes is not actually a Tesla from an ad on Craigslist.

Sources familiar with the situation told The Fluffington Post that Johann responded to a Craigslist advertisement offering a used Tesla Model S for $25,000 with only 3,500 miles on it. The ad was allegedly placed by a dealer in San Diego, but the car that was ultimately delivered to the puppy does not appear to be a Tesla.

“It’s a sports car,” said Randy Kolberg, who lives across the street from the dog, “but I don’t think that’s a Tesla. Granted, I ain’t actually see one of those up close, but the car Johann got doesn’t have an engine. And I’m pretty sure Teslas aren’t made of plastic.”

Tesla Motors could not be reached for comment at press time.
