The cat is resting comfortably in stable condition at this hour, but witnesses say it was touch and go for a little while.

An area cat has decided to take a personal day and just “hang out around the house,” according to sources close to the situation. Apparently, the cat – whose name has not been released at the request of friends – has been feeling overworked lately and decided to take a day off to reflect and recharge. He’ll be back at work tomorrow.
