Cat Hotel Heiresses to Star in Reality TV Show

Eva and Graziana, two kittens who also happen to be heirs to the Villa Cimbrone Hotel fortune, are set to star in a reality show on Italian television entitled La Vita di Miagolio.  The show will follow the kittens as they try their hand at all manner of labor-intensive employment.

“It should be great fun,” said Alonso Durante, the chief creative officer at Italy’s ITV network. “Eva and Graziana are used to lounging by the pool all day.  This should make for funny situations to have them doing real work.”

The show will begin airing in June.

Cat Bartender Will Listen to All Your Problems

A cat, ironically working at The Scurvy Dog, a bar in downtown Owensboro, KY has made quite an impression on locals.  "Margaritte?  Oh she’s a great listener.  She’ll hear all your problems, never a meow,“ said one regular, who wished to remain anonymous. "She’s a real throw-back.  The way bartenders used to be, you know?  Now, if only someone could teach her to mix drinks…”

Confused Kitten Wakes Up On M.C. Escher-Inspired Staircase

Cody, a cat from Coral Heights, FL, was minding his own business, napping the day away when – bam! – he woke up stuck in some confusing surrealist nightmare landscape.  "He’s been trapped on that crazy, tessellated staircase for three days,“ said a source close to the situation.  Apparently, no matter which way Cody goes, up or down, he always winds up back in the same place.  

Top engineers and theoretical physicists are being flown in from the California Institute of Technology in an attempt to figure out how to extricate Cody from his predicament.

Cats Try Intimidation Tactics as Field Mouse Protests Intensify

A marginalized community of mice has taken to the field to protest what they view as “an oppressive cat regime,” according to one spokesperson.

A list of demands includes better access to the pond, improved health care, and not being mangled and dropped on the front stoop.

The cats have denied accusations that mice are being treated unfairly, and have been putting pressure on protest groups to back down. Sources on the ground have expressed concerns that violence could erupt at any moment.
