Cat’s Date Turns Out to Be Plush

It wasn’t long after he completed his profile on CatMatch.com that Stu had a message from an interested lady feline.

“Stu was so excited,” says Ron Kelly, his friend and roommate. “He works all the time, so getting out there on the dating scene has been tough for him.”

Unfortunately, when he arrived to meet Lola at a local coffee shop, she wasn’t exactly what he expected.

“She wasn’t even a real cat,” says Kelly. “She was stuffed. They really should have clearer guidelines on those Internet dating sites.”

Office Cat Distracts Co-Workers With Non-Stop Laughter

According to source close to the situation, productivity at social media marketing firm Haystack, LLC has taken a nose dive since the company hired Taren, a Scottish Fold kitten, to be the official office cat.

“I can’t get anything done,” said account manager Lisa Dombrowski.  "Taren is always laughing.  Always.“

Employees at Haystack concede that Taren is cute, and that the non-stop laughter was infectious at first.  "But now it’s just annoying,” said Joan Lefevere, director of client services. “It’s hard to get companies to take you seriously when your office sounds like a taping of Saturday Night Live in the background.”

At this point management has no plans to let Taren go.  However sources tell The Fluffington Post that he will be asked to try to contain his constant mirth.
