Paws the dog has hopped on the selfie trend with an unmatched fervor, and has been posting Instagrams of himself non-stop for the past several months. In fact, he’s been so intent on constantly documenting his face that even while sleeping his natural reflex is to continue taking photos.
“I saw him napping the other day and he was still holding onto his phone,” roommate Darren Watson said. “Sure enough, I checked his Instagram feed and he’d posted three new selfies while he was asleep.”
Paws’ selfie barrage hasn’t helped his follower count, however. Though the dog had posted 6,807 selfies at press time, and a handful of food pics, his follower count has held steady at 23 for weeks.
“Everyone loves cut dog photos, but there’s only so much you can take before it just becomes noise,” said Watson. “He’ll have to figure that out on his own, though.”

Dog Auditions for ‘Jurassic World’
Dog Auditions for ‘Jurassic World’

Jurassic World may already be well into production, but that hasn’t stopped a local dog from trying to get in on the action.
Friends say that Abby submitted a video audition for the hotly anticipated sequel last week. A copy obtained by The Fluffington Post shows just how much effort the pup put in.
“She read up on dinosaurs for weeks beforehand,” says Jim Devlin. “She really wanted to get into their mindset – she even got a costume to make sure she looked the part.”
While Universal Pictures passed on the submission, they did send Abby a courtesy letter.
“They said they were good on dinosaurs,” says Devlin. “They did give her a T-shirt and a mug though, so hopefully that softened the blow.”

Dog Ignores Recommended Ages for Play Set
Dog Ignores Recommended Ages for Play Set
by Anna Washenko, FluffPo Correspondent
Peanut the dog has sparked controversy across his neighborhood by continuing to use a play set that was intended for ages 2-4. The dog is only 18 months.
Though local children love Peanut – “He’s awesome,” said Carly Classon, age 6 – neighborhood parents have voiced concerns that the pup’s actions might encourage other young residents to ignore safety warnings.
“He’s setting a bad example for the other youth on the block. He’s not old enough for that slide,” Neighborhood Association President Maxwell Higgenbother said.
Other in the neighborhood don’t agree.
“You have to take his dogness into consideration,” said Pete Frannicker, who lives on the same block as Peanut. “In dog years, he’s almost 20. He’s actually kind of too old to be playing on a kiddy slide, which is a whole other thing.”
