According to reports out of Sonoma, CA, a local dog named Harvey is breaking rules at a local park as part of a broader protest.
“Harvey feels that the town council is made up of bullies,” said the pup’s spokesman Chaz Wiggins. "There’s not reason the park shouldn’t be open to everyone – whether on two legs or four, and he’s out to make that point. Tomorrow, he’ll be back… also, he’ll be riding a skateboard.“

‘Hood Dogs’ Surpass ‘Purse Dogs’ as Pet of Choice Among Socialites
Move over tiny purse-sized Chihuahuas, there’s a new vogue pet in town. According to a landmark study conducted by People magazine, more socialites have chosen “hood dogs” to “purse dogs” over the past 12 months.
“At one time, a socialite’s ensemble wasn’t complete without a purse-sized puppy as an accessory,” said People associate editor Claire Melo, who noted that Paris Hilton’s love of small-sized puppies helped popularize the trend a few years ago. "These days, though, we’re finding that hooded sweatshirts are the preferred mode of doggy storage among the debutante set.“

Pug Still Indecisive Over 2012 Election
While there’s still plenty of time until November, most Americans have made up their minds on whether to vote for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney as the next president of the United States.
One undecided voter is Carlo the pug. While he is a fiscal conservative, he just can’t get behind the social platforms of the Republican party.
“He’s a little freaked out that he can’t decide right now,” says Chelsea Mason, a source close to the situation. “He takes voting very seriously.”

Defense Department Acquires Terrier Camouflage System
A source inside the Pentagon tells The Fluffington Post that the U.S. Department of Defense has acquired the patent for a Boston Terrier’s camouflage system.
“It really is amazing, and will have all sorts of military applications,” says the source on condition of anonymity. “It only works on one particular carpet right now, but we’ll work out the kinks.”
