Dog Spends Vacation by the Pool
What’s better than lounging by the pool, soaking up the rays and sipping on mai tais? Nothing, according to Clarence the dog, who recently returned from a week-long vacation to Cabo San Lucas.
“He just sat by the pool all week,” said friend and travel buddy, Saul Reed. “He was totally relaxed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him wag his tail that much.”
Alas, Clarence’s week is up and now it’s back to work.

Bulldog Visits Hollywood to Pay Homage to Hero
There is nothing quite like it in a dog’s life. Those who can undertake the pilgrimage to TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) and the Hollywood Walk of Fame to visit the star of Lassie often describe their lives as changed afterward.
Maya, and English Bulldog from New York, recently made the trek.
“It was definitely a life-affirming moment for her,” said friend Marlo Jines. “She’s been such a huge Lassie fan for years.”
Maya spent a few moments at Lassie’s star, posing for photos and sitting in quiet contemplation. Later, she went for food at In-N-Out burger.

Puppy’s Apartment Is a Mess
Annabelle, a puppy from Georgia, isn’t used to this “whole living on your own” thing. But the dog is going to have to figure it out quick, or risk getting kicked out of the rental apartment she shares with two friends.
“I think she sort of forgot that mom isn’t around to pick up after her anymore,” said Jo Levy, one of Annabelle’s roommates. “Welcome to the real world, kid.”
According to Levy, they’ll give the dog another chance, but if the apartment ever gets that messy again, she’ll be “out on her tail.”

Pups Make Camp in Living Room
Lewis and Bark have reportedly reached the living room and set up camp there. The pair began their cross-house trek earlier this week, intending to find a northern route from the den to the kitchen.
“They’ve successfully reached the living room,” confirmed Janet Smiley, who manages their base camp in the master bedroom and received a radio communique from the dogs at 0800 today. “They’re planning to camp there for the day, gather provisions from the under the couch cushions – dropped Cheetos, gummi bears, etc. – and then continue on through the dining room tomorrow.”
The puppies are hoping to reach the kitchen by Saturday.
