Xbox-Playing Guinea Pig Will Destroy You in Lego Harry Potter

Meet Sir Thomas (Xbox Live name, real name: Reginald Goldthwaite), an Xbox master who also happens to be just 8 inches tall. Sir Thomas, a guinea pig from Akron, OH, has quietly climbed up the ladder of the world Xbox rankings for a number of popular competitive games, including Halo Reach (#14 in the world), Call of Duty: Black Ops (#27), Madden NFL 12 (#104), and Gears of War 3 (#16).  

But where Sir Thomas really excels is Lego Harry Potter: Year 7, where he currently ranks #3. He’ll have a chance to take the top spot this weekend when he’s set to battle the current top player, MuggleMan1986.

Laughing Cat Won’t Say What’s So Funny

“You don’t want to be that guy,” says Jim Leland of Desault Systems, a small data processing company in Peoria, IL.  According to Leland, Chloe, a cat who works in the company’s sales department, has been laughing non-stop since lunch and won’t let her co-workers in on the joke.  "It’s extremely rude and kinda distracting,“ says Leland.

Meet the Future Police Dogs of the United Kingdom

Born in October 2011, these adorable German Shepherd pups are already well on their way to becoming lean, mean, crime fighting machines.  That’s because they’re part of the West Midlands Police dog training program. They will be taught how to follow and track scents, how to search for and locate missing property and people, and how to detain a fleeing suspect – including those with firearms.  

The rigorous training program will eventually lead these puppies to graduate as operational police dogs for the West Midlands Police, a force that takes their dogs seriously. (How seriously? Well, last year their ran a Pup Idol competition to find their next police dog star.)

Extremely Vain Cat Can’t Stop Looking at Own Reflection

According to sources, Milo, a local cat not previously known for his vanity, has been staring at himself in the mirror for hours. “We were suppose to go see The Hunger Games last night and he totally blew me off to stare at his reflection.  Not cool,” one particularly perturbed friend told The Fluffington Post.  

Cat psychologists say Milo is just exhibiting typical behavior for a teenager (he just turned two and a half), while occultists swear the mirror is cursed.
