Engineers: Cardboard Is Fatal Flaw in Kitten’s New Fort
After conducting a cursory survey Monday morning, two independent structural engineers have concluded that the fort built by an Australian kitten will not withstand an invasion.
The flaw? “It’s made of cardboard,” says Stu Kaplan, one of the architects who reviewed the new construction. “Historically, cardboard has not been found to withstand marauders or even inclement weather.”
Still, Oz the kitten, a resident of Sydney, will not be deterred from his investment. “We advised him to start over, but he plans to just pad the walls with pillow cases. I assure you, it won’t help,” Kaplan tells The Fluffington Post.

Dog Unable to Locate Hide-and-Seek Partner
Lily, a golden doodle from the Atlanta suburbs, began a game of hide-and-seek with her roommate Hudson in mid-March, and has yet to locate him.
“She’s been searching everywhere,” says Carol Birch, a neighbor familiar with the situation. “The clothes hamper, the basement – even in the fridge. Lily has no idea Hudson is right under her nose.”

Cat Pins Dog In Exciting Wrestling Bout
In what is being hailed by sportswriters as “the inter-species fight of the century,” Bing the cat managed to pin Rummy the dog in the fourth round of a Greco-Roman wrestling match on Sunday.
“Everyone was betting on Rummy,” says Cal Camden, who covers contact sports for The New York Post. “When Bing locked him in that half nelson, the whole match shifted. Then it was over in two minutes.”
