Despite the ubiquity of YouTube, Netflix and other video on demand services, a cat named Cacaouette still finds simple pleasure in waking up early on a Saturday morning and watching cartoons on broadcast TV.
“There’s no fast-forwarding, no episode choice,” says Chester Bigelow, the cat’s roommate. “You just flick on the tube and watch whatever’s on. Heck, sometimes I end up watching too.”

Dog Earns Extra Cash as Party Clown
Though the economy has been in recovery for some time, many have kept their side jobs as a way to earn spending money or put a little aside for savings. Los Angeles-based French bulldog Tuna is no exception.
By day, Tuna works as an in-house CPA with a downtown office supply distributor. Clocking only 30 hours per week gives him the time to moonlight as a party clown, and he has gigs lined up for months.
“I asked my girl what kind of birthday party she wanted this year,” says Deborah Marin, whose daughter turned seven in January. “She said, ‘We need Tuna the Clown!’ She wouldn’t settle for anything less, so I had to book him on short notice. Luckily, he was still available.”
